Biography
Aldo Panunzio is a partner at Ortoli Rosenstadt LLP, and is the head of the firm’s hospitality practice and an active member of the firm’s real estate and international taxation, trust and estate administration departments.
Aldo’s practice focuses on cross-border transactions involving acquisition of real estate assets by foreign investors (private and institutional) through direct and indirect investments. In addition, he advises private clients and foreign companies in matters regarding pre-tax immigration issues, corporate immigration and international taxation. Furthermore, he also advises clients on aspects related to licensing law in connection with the New York Alcoholic Beverage Controls Laws.
Most of his clientele is composed of private foreign individuals and foreign-based companies active in the United States through subsidiaries.
Prior in his career he worked at major international law firms in Europe and in the United States in their real estate departments.
Aldo is a member of the New York City Bar Association and was recently awarded by Super Lawyers the 2015 and 2016 Rising Star Immigration Awards and the 2016 and 2017 Rising Star Real Estate Attorney Award for the New York City Metropolitan Area.
Besides English and Italian, Aldo is fluent in Portuguese.
