Biography
Richard applies extensive, real-world experience to solving legal issues. This, and his in-depth knowledge of several areas of the law, make him a one-stop shop for clients.
He specializes in international and domestic real estate, mergers and acquisitions, trademark and licensing, corporate law, international tax, and trusts and estates.
He has a large domestic and international practice. His international clients come from Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Italy, Greece, Mexico, South Africa, Spain, Vietnam and the United Kingdom among others.
He was born in Sydney, Australia and has lived in Brazil, England, France, New Zealand, Spain, and South Africa.
Since 2009 he has been the elected representative of the French community both in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, as conseiller consulaire, and nationally as a member of the Assemblée des Français de l’étranger.
In 2012 he was elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the New York French American Charter School.
He is currently a director and was the president of the Leeds University North American alumni association (NAFUL).
