Sean McCoy-Cador is a specialized energy regulatory specialist that provides innovative legal advice to energy consumers and energy suppliers in their purchasing/selling of power utilizing self-conducted power auctions, resulting in the execution of PPAs or through heading agreements at the energy wholesale market through creative thinking. He has provided legal advice to developers and sponsors of energy projects and infrastructure. Sean has over 25 years of experience in the power sector and highly sophisticated commercial transactions in Mexico and Latin America. Mr. McCoy provides general corporate advice on drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts, EPCs (for gas-fired and renewable power plants), corporate restructures, joint ventures, and other cross-border corporate transactions. Sean’s deep knowledge of the insights of the power industry and its commercial strategies in Mexico provides the firm’s clients an exclusive added value for their transactions.
