Biography
Mark was admitted to the Bar in 2003 and has practised as in-house lawyer for one of Malta’s main banks for a number of years, before setting up his own private practice in several fields of law but specialising in Contract Law, Financial Services and Intellectual Property. He joined the Firm shortly after its inception and has been responsible for the development of the Firm’s conveyancing practice.
He has over the years advised various clients on Intellectual Property and has assisted several local musicians in Copyright matters and the negotiation of related contracts including Record Label Agreements, International Management Agreements, Distribution & Publishing Agreements with international parties interested in representing and contracting such artists.
He is the firm’s lead partner when dealing with foreign high net-worth individuals desiring to obtain citizenship or residence in Malta. He is also often requested to assist clients with their estate and tax planning and is a trusted advisor to various organisations including banks, insurance companies, governmental authorities and national foundations.
