What Lexlink has in store for 2026
When I think about what we have in store for 2026, I see a year focused on strengthening what already works for us, while being deliberate about where Lexlink goes next.
Growth is one of our aims for the year, but it has to be the right kind of growth, supported by strong relationships and clear priorities.
Building the Lexlink name internationally
One of our main objectives is to continue developing the Lexlink name on a global level.
As part of this, we’ll be increasing visibility in regions where our members are already active and building recognition that reflects the quality of the firms within the network.
Alongside this, we will continue recruitment efforts in Latin America, Europe and Asia.
We want to attract firms that share Lexlink’s values and approach and see the benefits in being part of an international network built on trust and cooperation.
Sharing knowledge across the network
One of the perks of being a Lexlink member is the opportunities it brings to share knowledge across jurisdictions.
This year, we will host quarterly webinars for members, led by subject-matter experts.
These sessions will focus on trending legal issues, giving members an opportunity to exchange personal insights and stay connected throughout the year.
Keep an eye out for invitations to these webinars so you don’t miss out.
In person events
Our AGM in Barcelona is expected to be a highlight of the 2026 calendar, following the success of last year’s event in Paris.
We believe bringing members together in person for this annual meeting is important for the ongoing success of our international network, as the opportunity to meet face-to-face rarely comes around.
The presence of the Secretary General will also reinforce the importance of leadership, continuity and open discussion about Lexlink’s direction.
Raising Lexlink’s profile
We will be focusing more on how Lexlink communicates externally.
This includes a more consistent social media presence, alongside a regular programme of blogs and articles that reflect the expertise of our member firms.
We began rolling this out in late 2025, and early feedback on the content published on our website has been positive.
This work will also support our engagement with Chambers and Partners through more strategic submissions and ongoing dialogue.
Investing in people and relationships
This year, we are also looking to develop exchanges and internship opportunities between member firms.
These initiatives can help build long-term relationships, support professional development and give lawyers valuable exposure to different legal systems and ways of working.
Funding and financial discipline
To support Lexlink’s activities, we will explore sponsorship opportunities with organisations that see value in the network. Any additional funds will be allocated carefully and transparently.
We will also maintain a disciplined approach to costs.
We will be hosting regular virtual Board meetings, which will continue to support clear decision-making and accountability as Lexlink grows.
