Biography
Concentrates his practice in Environmental Law and Sanctioning Proceedings, Administrative Law, Litigation and Arbitration, Corporate Law, Mining and Energy.
Mr. Barrueto has extensive experience advising clients in issues related to the environmental assessment impact system, the Environmental Superintendence and the Environmental Courts. Likewise, he permanently advises local and foreign companies in trials and arbitration, mining and energy, as well as in corporate and commercial matters.
Mr. Barrueto is a professor of the course mining and energy projects development, at the LL.M. program of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile Law School. He has also served as assistant professor of Civil (Private) Law at the Universidad de los Andes, between 2008 and 2010.
