Lexlink 2026 Annual General Meeting in Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona, Spain, October 2026

Lexlink’s annual meeting took place in Barcelona from October 1 to 3, my eleventh and the second as Chairwoman. A year of hard work by this Board, built on transparency, sustainability, efficiency and trust.

Our Spanish member, Albert Aynes, hosted us impeccably, bringing nearly all of our members together for three days of collaboration, exchange of ideas and real friendship.

This year we have concrete results to show. Lexlink opened its own bank account in Switzerland after years of relying on the generosity of a member firm. Every membership fee was collected, expenses came in below budget and the deficit was reduced by ninety per cent. Our website and social media turned the network outwards, and our publications gave members a voice across jurisdictions. None of it happened by chance, and none of it happened alone.

My gratitude goes to Matteo Carli and Richard Ortoli, whose terms end with this meeting and whose contribution shaped these years, and to Philippe De Richoufftz and Federico Formento, who now take office.

To Piers Meadows, Daniela Koenig and Oren Speiser, for carrying this with me. And to Lara Muscolini, whose dedication holds our network together every single day.

There is still much to be done, and that is exactly what makes it worth doing. What sets us apart is not only our reach, but the trust, respect and genuine connections we have built.
