Looking ahead to the next six months at Lexlink
This year has flown by and we have seen some great achievements from our members in the last eight months, but we have lots of exciting things ahead of us.
When 2026 began, we said it would be a year focused on strengthening our position in the legal market and being deliberate about the next steps for our organisation.
Growth has been, and continues to be, one of our key aims for the year. However, blind growth is rarely effective and so we have focused on activities that build better, more valuable relationships for all of our members.
Growing our brand globally
The members of Lexlink know it well and promote our brand to their own audiences, but we are still seeking that wider recognition.
In the last year or so, we hope you have noticed how much more active we have been online and we are really grateful to everyone who has got involved to get our message out there.
We continue to grow our offering in Latin America, Europe and Asia, with regular enquiries for new members coming in.
In welcoming new firms to Lexlink, we want to be quite selective, so we are choosing those that have similar goals and values to our own.
However, for them, it is important that they also see the value of being part of our growing international legal network.
Shared knowledge and experience
Earlier this year, we said that we wanted to try and develop a wider network of internship opportunities between firms and we continue to pursue this as a goal, alongside our wider knowledge sharing.
Many of our members speak fondly of this benefit and consider it to be one of the key advantages that comes from being a member of our network.
We have already hosted a number of quarterly webinars for members and have plans to host more in the months ahead.
Each session, led by an expert in their field, focuses on a key issue within the legal industry, which allows our members to share their own experiences.
Beyond these more formal events, our members know that they always have the knowledge of other experts at the end of a line or email. These more informal interactions are incredibly valuable.
Our AGM
Probably the biggest highlight of the year will be our next AGM. Due to be held in Barcelona from 1 – 3 October, it promises to be another incredible event.
Full details will be shared with members soon, but we hope it will be another great event that will allow members to take in all that this wonderful Spanish city has to offer, while also getting insights from their fellow members.
If it is anything like our last event in Paris, it promises to be great.
